I included an install script and readme file for easy install.

Hello Everyone,

It's been a month(roughly) since I started using LL, and the experience has been more than awesome! LL is certainly a lot stable OS.
LL also looks quite good, but I think there may be some improvement in looks.
1. The default wallpaper may be reconstructed as per some modern trends, which includes-flat, simple and sleek design and etc. (well, you get the point )
2. The same may be said in case of symbol.

Any suggestions over the color combination to be used or to include some parts or images already designed or any general suggestion is whole-heartedly welcomed.

Thanks,
Sanmay

these are my first try at an icon, they are derivative XFCE4 menu icons I done, the original sized feather was made by "whateverthing", in this thread.

I used a copy of the current XFCE Linux Lite Menu icon, recoloured over the feather, cropped, flipped over, and rotated, whateverthing's feather, scaled for each icon, and shaded the surrounding background so it matched the current button 1 pixel by pixel.

Scott helped me find the current icons so I could try this out, and JmaCWQ helped me in where to place the new icons so they worked, in this thread

I'm a fan of Tux. Friendly, approachable, yet somehow crisp and computer-y. I think all Linux distros should, as a matter of branding, have him in their logos or icons. Different distros would have him in different situations, holding different tools, doing different things, wearing different accessories, etc. Or at the very least have the distro logo on his belly like a Care Bear.

Here's a link to an image I threw together of Tux sitting on the Linux Lite feather. In it, Tux is apparently so light the feather can support him as it floats about. What better way to convey not merely that this OS is light, as the feather on its own does, but also that this is a version of Linux, specifically, that is light?

Sorry to Jerry if this is sacrilege...

New Donor Forum Badges

Hello all! In an attempt to encourage more donations towards Linux Lite, I have made a few new forum badges. They are nothing super special, pretty much just the default forum badge with donor, gold, or platinum added to them. The donor badge is for anyone who has donated any money to Linux Lite before and the gold badge can be for anyone in the gold donors list or anyone who has heavily contributed on the forums and has a "Gold Level Poster" status. Also, the platinum badge is for anyone who has a "Platinum Level Poster" status here on the forums. Let me know what you all think!
These are not technically icons, but should be able to be used as icons. They were saved as .png so they should have transparency around the borders.
